The Houston Canine Frisbee Disc Club started in 1991 and is made up of people who love throwing Frisbee discs to their dogs. Some do it just to get out of the house, some are more serious and strive to be world champions. Our club is made up of both and everyone in between.

The club meets typically on the 2nd Sunday of each month and other times when convenient to members to provide ideas, tips, information, fellowship and a safe place to practice our exciting sport. Our club is designed for individuals as well as families to come out, with their dogs, in fun and encouraging surroundings.

In addition, our club host local, regional and national tournaments as well as provides demonstrations at local charity events, school functions and corporate gatherings. On occasion, some members will travel together to out of town or out of state competitions on their "Canine Vacations"!

Our meetings, as well as most of our events, are open to the public and everyone is welcome. Many people have just "stopped by" with their dogs to see what was going on and later joined. A few months later, that same person was performing incredible tricks with their canine athlete. Regardless of your experience with dog training, you too can be throwing Frisbees to your dog like a pro in no time.

Club dues are $25.00 per family per year and are collected when the member first joins and every March. This fee entitles members to be on an email distribution list to keep them abreast of upcoming events, purchase Frisbees and other club related items at a discounted price, pay for equipment, insurance and other items to keep the club running and more. Club members, family and guest are all expected to read and follow the club rules.

It is never too early or too late to start learning this exciting sport! If your dog can fetch a ball or stick, then you have the makings of a Frisbee Dog!
